Screw?
Yes. i am talking about screw now. i think it should not be strange for an engineer; in fact, for everyone. You can find it anywhere and evertwhere, such as your laptop (you are probably using it now. i guess.) but where can you find a really huge screw in NUS? i think all of you know about it. certainly, it is located somewhere in engineering faculty. (If u really dont have any ideas about it. u can use my displayed photo as ur hint. Haha. i think i am a bit out of track now. ) ok. why does screw equal to flexibility and then equal to harmony?
Actually, the reason is really simple. Screw has two directions-one in, one out. To be more specific, clockwise direction in; anticlockwise direction out. lets put it in this situation. when you encounter a difficulty in screwing the screw, what will you do? will you continue screw it in or out? i think you will screw it out first then screw it in again, right? so what does this mean? dont you figure out any flexibility in it? Screw works for both directions: clockwise and anticlockwise. Together, it makes a whole circle. (can you visual it?) in fact, circle signifies harmony. (i dont know whether you believe in this or not. but for me, it is true.)
